The plastic casing material is made of an impact resistant polycarbonate/ ABS resin.
A specially designed cell cradle together with careful attention and choice of materials during assembly render the batteries resistant to mechanical stresses and daily wear and tear.

An interlocking system is employed in the plastic casing to allow safe operation in adverse weather conditions.
Any critical point from where water seepage can occur is protected by rubber membrane.

The fact that every individual cell is pre-tested and classified according to voltage/capacity and power ensures that BLUESHAPE batteries are best in class when it comes to runtime, performance and lifetime.
Moreover, BLUESHAPE batteries are the highest capacity batteries available on the market - a good 140WH in the smaller version and 210Wh in the larger model.

During charging, balance of the individual cells is maintained by special electronic circuitry so as to uniformly distribute consumption between the internal cell groups. In such a way, the lifetime of the battery is prolonged up to around 500 cycles (charge + discharge) making it unique in its class. All batteries have a 5 LED true state of charge indicator.

The battery chargers are available in two categories, both for professional use.
The STUDIO models (4X and 8X with LCD) are intended for battery charging at base whereas the portable OUTDOOR (2X and 1X) have compact sizes for easier portability.
All chargers are equipped with a data output for real-time monitoring of the battery states or for entire battery fleet management.
This feature makes our chargers especially suitable for this market.

BLUESHAPE chargers are designed for fast charging (4 Amperes): The STUDIO 4X can charge two 70Wh batteries simultaneously in 2.5 hours or two 210Wh units in around 6.5 hours. The 8X model can do the same with 4 batteries simultaneously.
Chargers 2X, 4X and 8X in addition have a 13.8V/110W output through a 4pin XLR.

For all products, design and manufacturing is according to IEC regulations. In this way, the highest safety standards together with conformity to air transport regulations are guaranteed. The plastic casing is of fire retardant material and the contact block can withstand over 200ºC.

The BLUESHAPE product range also includes batteries for portable Mini-DV cameras or special adapters to exploit the high capacity of the V-mount batteries for powering up the Mini-DV cameras and providing them with prolonged runtime.
Manufactured with similar standards to those employed in the V-lock batteries, these Mini-DV units are ideal for daily use in semi-professional applications.
